For the double click on your mouse to yield an event, you have to click 2 times in imaginary 4x4 pixel field. If that's problem for you, you can make that field bigger.
Go to Registry.
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Desktop
In right window, you will find DoubleClickWidth and DoubleClickHeigh. Both have values. Just change that values to some bigger.
